July 14
This has been an exciting week!
I had my second study with Andrea this week and she is so good! Since she studied before, when she was young, she has a real strong appreciation for the Bible, clearly knows who Jehovah is and wants to learn!
She makes very heartfelt and thoughtful answers and is very studious.
Another sister met a young man who spoke English and she was able to talk to him for about 15minutes, sharing scriptures and encouragement.
Another sister met a young English speaking woman who invited her in to sit on her patio and they spoke for over 30 minutes sharing scriptures and the sister made arrangements to go back and visit her again soon.
A sister met a young man who spoke English and after an interactive conversation, she made arrangements to go back and visit him again. Before she left she offered him a Bible Study and he excepted.
Every day, we hand out lots of contact cards with everyone we meet even those that speak Spanish. I’m also making an effort to show a video or the website to everyone that lets me!
I was working with a sister who found a teenage girl that spoke English, and the sister offered her a study and she accepted.
A brother met a man visiting his family from Miami, he comes for 10 days every month, and the brother made arrangements to go back and talk to him in more detail because he was busy at the moment we met him.
I also did a couple of cart work shifts recently, and both times placed several pieces of literature, some in English and some in Spanish.
A woman was working outside her home doing some gardening work and when I approached her to ask if she spoke English, she said no, but wanted to know who we were and why we were there. So I gave her a brief witness and asked her if she wanted to watch the video that I had already downloaded in Spanish, “how to find answers to life’s big questions“. She really enjoyed it and agreed with everything that it was saying. After the video I gave her contact card and then she mentioned that her grandson that lives with her does speak English so please come back and talk to him. We continued on her street and by the time we came back around passing by her house, she waved us over to come back. I went back and she said “do you have something to leave for my grandson because he would really like this” so we left a tract with her in English. We got his name and made sure to write down her address. Later we met some Spanish sisters in service and I gave the woman’s information to the sisters and they said they’ll make sure and call on her the next day. I’m sure she’s a potential Bible Study!
We had the CO visit and a great pioneer meeting this week! (A few are missing from the picture)
Sooooo encouraging!

Thank u so much for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
